Image Playground, ChatGPT, and other advanced Apple Intelligence features debut in beta

Apple has introduced a new developer beta release for its operating systems, including iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2, just ahead of the public launch of earlier versions.

Interactive writing tools, image cleanup, article summary, and a new Siri interface, which will be incorporated into the Apples Intelligence portfolio in the near future have also been included in this update.


Key features include:


ChatGPT Integration: Some users can enable ‘ChatGPT for questions posed through Siri and for text input in different applications. This integration enables Siri to further connect to OpenAI’s system when it cannot answer questions on the spot.


Image Playground: This tool refers to images that are created based on user inputs and is available as apps in Messages and Keynote. It does not depict photo realism to minimize ethical issues that might arise from successful adoption of the technique.


GenMoji: Using descriptions, users can input phrases and this will generate prompts for the creation of new emojis or even via pictures.


Visual Intelligence: As previously done, this option enables users to scan QR codes, resume explanatory text, and identify contact information using the camera.


Image Wand: Users can rewrite sketches into drawings and erasing written notes.


Such options demonstrate Apple’s continuous strive at improving the usability of the gadgets enhanced through AI elements, as well the company has not forgotten about the ethical issues concerning the creation of unique content.
